So my roommate and I just got a cat and she loves to scratch my one chair. We taped the corners and she just kept scratching. These work really well and she has given up trying to scratch the chair. I was a little hesitant about these working but they work and I am so happy that I tried them.

This has proved to be a simple way to prevent the cats from doing major damage to my couches. I had to replace a previous set due to our four cats’ incessant need to claw at something to sharpen their nails. I was not going to let that happen to my new furniture set, so I ordered this, mostly because they did not require any sort of push pins to secure them to the couches. I like that because a product meant to protect your furniture should not also do damage itself in the installation. I can recommend these as a sound way to avoid such problems in the future.

It looks great, I just put it on we’ll see the result, very grateful to the store who gave me two pom poms for my cats, some stickers and something I don’t know very well for which is although I guess they’re like pins to put it in the plastic if it takes off.

My order was shipped on April 2 and I received it on May 6. All 6 sheets were well protected and rolled up into a sturdy cardboard box. The store included 10 free upholstery screw tacks two free animal stickers as well as two free pom pom ball cat toys which was a nice surprise! The plastic sheets are as described and are not as flimsy as the double-sided sticky tape that’s available for the same purpose. If you have very persistent scratching going on, then I recommend using a sticky surfaced product instead. However, to prevent or maintain training, these work well and you can reposition them. I do think they are overpriced, but they are still cost less than they would in my country.

They don’t hold too well on their own but that’s why there’s the pins. I’ve never seen my cats actually scratch the clutch as the damage usually just appears in the morning so can’t comment on the reaction. The best thing from this order are the soft small playing balls out in as a gift. I’ve never seen my cats love toy so much that they’re fighting for it and it’s the most hilarious playing I’ve seen from them.

I was worried if it was thick enough or not, but works perfect for the cats to not scratch. I do need to buy more since I needed more than I thought, but I do need to admit that sometimes the cats DO move up part of the sticker, but still they do not touch the sofas thankfully. Arrived to Barcelona in 7 days (REALLY impressed with that). Did not talk with the store.
